Q    Tell us the type of vehicle you were driving that day.

A     I had several cars at that time.  I had a Chrysler  Sebring, a Chevrolet Cavalier, and a Ford Expedition.  The day of the accident on I-64, I was in the Chevrolet Cavalier.

Q    Do you still have the Chevrolet Cavalier?

A     No.  It was totaled in the accident.  I do still have the Chrysler Sebring and the Ford Expedition.  My wife drives the Ford Expedition.

Q    About where on I-64 did the accident happen?

A    It was on 64 right around where you turn off on Route 60.  I put my signal on to get off on 60 and her Pontiac Grand Am hit me.  I spun and ended up hitting two other cars, a Buick Century and a Nissan Pathfinder.

Q    What was damaged on the Pontiac Grand Am?

A     Her entire front end was torn up.  The Buick Century wasn’t damaged too bad, but the Nissan Pathfinder was totaled.

Q     The accident report lists a Dodge Caravan as being involved in this accident.

A     Well, I said a Buick, but maybe it’s a Dodge.  I’m not for sure.

Q     Did you have your Chevrolet Cavalier repaired?

A     I took it to a body shop on Route 23 in Ashland.  It’s the one there off I-64.

Q    Do you remember the name of the shop?

A     I think Superior Chevrolet-Buick.

Q     Is that where you purchased the vehicle?

A     I bought it at Hamilton Chevrolet on Route 7 in Ohio.

Q     So that Chevrolet dealer was unable to repair the vehicle?

A     Yes.  They took it to a junk yard on Route 152.

Q     Were you provided a rental car?

A      Yes.  I had a Toyota Camry.

Q      How long did you drive the Camry?

A      Until I bought a new car.  I looked at a Honda Civic and a Subaru Outback.  I decided to buy a Plymouth Voyager.

Q     Why did you decide against the Honda Civic and the Subaru Outback?  Why did you go with the Plymouth Voyager?

A      My friend works at the dealership, and she got me a really good deal on the Voyager.

Q      Are you still driving the Voyager today?

A      Yes.

Q     And where is the dealership that you bought the Plymouth Voyager?

A     It’s in Ashland on Winchester Avenue.

Q     What is the name of that dealership?

A     It’s Kentucky Plymouth-Pontiac-Oldsmobile.
